During the live webinar discussion, Eric Kadaj, Senior Director, Business and Applications Development from Energy Recovery, and Tina Arrowood, Principal Research Scientist from DuPont Water Solutions will share an overview of how their technologies provide a solution to technical challenges associated with Minimal Liquid Discharge (MLD) Ultra High-Pressure Reverse Osmosis (UHPRO) operations, generating significant energy and cost savings in industrial wastewater treatment systems.

Eric Kadaj, Senior Director of Business and Applications Development Energy Recovery
Eric Kadaj is the Senior Director of Business and Applications Development with Energy Recovery. For more than 20 years, he has applied his engineering and technical expertise in energy recovery solutions to the desalination industry and beyond. With his industry knowledge, Eric has leveraged strategic partnerships to develop emerging markets while also introducing new products to existing markets that would enable greater operational efficiencies and provide holistic solutions to end users. Eric is passionate about driving greater sustainability within desalination and the industrial wastewater space utilizing technologies and methods that address the industry challenges, including process design and implementation, operational strategies, and novel discoveries that minimize environmental impacts. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Tina Arrowood, Principal Research Scientist DuPont Water Solutions
Tina Arrowood is a R&D Chemist with a passion for using science to solve pressing world challenges related to water sustainability. She partners with teams in regions (e.g., China and India) facing water scarcity head-on to define the pain points of industrial water management. These pain points are translate into targets for Research and Development. Today she leads membrane development projects to enable commercialization of advanced RO/NF membrane technology to improve industrial water management related to wastewater reuse, minimal liquid discharge (MLD) and brine recovery. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
